Incense Insanity!

Ended up making it to the Occult Shop, but they didn't have the book I wanted. Well technically they did have a copy of Cunningham's Incense Oils and Brews but it was in Spanish. Which is odd, you'd think they'd have it in French, not Spanish around here.

But I still picked up lots of goodies. :) I picked up some charcoal discs, a burner big enough to fit the discs in, some myrr, and some more incense cones. Even though I am experimenting with loose incense I still want to have cones and sticks on hand for everyday use.

Upon searching for reviews and directions for the discs I found the oddest of products I have ever seen. Who would buy this?

I finally found the camera cord. So now you can all see just how crazy I am. I have like an entire shelf devoted to incense and incense tools.

And that doesn't even show the charcoal box (The silver dragon box I bought Shaggy back when we were dating.) the ash catchers all around the house and the all important lighters!

Nor does it include the awesome incense recycle bin I made for the ashes. I hate to waste and it's really, well, rude to just throw away ritual consumables but I had a really hard time finding an article or book that dealt with the topic, but now I know how I can reuse the ashes. As plant food! So of course I had to make something snazzy to put all the ashes in so I made this:

Shaggy said he liked it. I took that as meaning it actually looks really good to normal people. Not just artsy people like me. And it's much easier to use the the old bottle I was using.

Why can't keeping the rest of my house orginized be as easy as keeping my incense organized !?
