Ironic Spirituality
Did more work on the essay thing again. I looked through all my books for pentacle references. I stuck to the more "fluffy" happy books. I have a couple darker and tounge in cheek books that I didn't feel were suitable for this project. Heck I don't find them suitable for much. I just keep them for the sheer fact that my magickal bookshelf is not that well stocked. Wiccan/Pagan material doesn't show up in places were used books are sold and are expensive to buy new. My collection is growing, just not as fast as my fiction section is growing. Fiction books are a dime a dozen.
For the curious the books I used are: Solitary Witch and To Ride a Silver Broomstick, both by Silver RavenWolf and Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunninham. To Ride a Silver Broomstick was my first Pagan/Wiccan book. It is one of my favourites and it an excellent beginners book. I would love to find the other 2 in the series. They are not as common as her other book.
While stuying I stumbled upon some things to help me prepare for the next holiday: Candlemas. There are a few cross stitch projects I want to get done by then.
I am on my way to finishing my current cross stitch project. I am 3/4 of the way done the predominant colour. The other colours are just accents.
Ironically Aunti's essay is helping me intergrate my religion more into my daily life. We cling to things more when people try to take them away from us. Not them best reason to turn more religious but I guess it will suffice. It's something I have been meaning to do. I have just gotten more ideas on how to go about doing it in the past few days.
Well, I am sleepy and I am sure I will just start rambling on again, so I will spare you that horror and go to bed.

Oh happy day, I made a new icon. Credit for the image goes here. They don't have a site banner :(
