Lina is a happy pig right now. It was very cold when I woke up this morning. Too cold for poor Lina. So I put on my robe, grabbed Lina and my laptop and trudged back to bed. Lina is now warm and happy under the blankets. She's even making her little happy noises. I love her big red ears. :)

Ukyou is napping on the bed too. Silly kitty.

I started the drawing for the new blog layout yesterday. I just have to clean up the line drawing, photocopy it, then colour it with markers. This is a new technique I learned from How to Draw Manga Vol 15: Girl's Illustration File I hope it works well. If not, oh well, I wasted 10 cents and some ink.

I really need some new markers though. First off I never had a decent collection of Prismacolor markers. I had a grey/beige pack and a basic colour pack. That's it. Two, my red, my precious precious red ran out! At the very least I need a new red marker. Maybe I can pick up a red one this weekend :) I can't finish the layout of the picture without it and Shaggy seems egar to see me drawing again.

Shaggy wants to get me a ton of supplies now. He seems to think it will help me draw. Silly boy. The secret ingrdient is angst. I just seem to have more of it in the winter the past few years.

Though it would be nice to get some Copic markers someday. I'd like to see if there is much of a difference. If not I'll just stick to Prismacolor. Or maybe Chartpak. I have a nice Chartpak blender I bought in college when I forgot my Prismacolour one at home and needed it for class.
