Of webhosts and little red fish

Getting this blog set up was more of a pain than I thought it was. The blogger software was easy enough to set up and change to suit my tastes. It was my webhost that gave me problems. The instructions to set up a subdomain seemed easy enough, *but* it didn't work. I e-mailed tech support and they told me it was *their* mix up (an old dns or something beyond my current skill and knowledge) and they would fix it right away and that in 24 hours I would get a nice shiny new subdomain. Well 24 hours came and went so I e-mailed them again this time getting a different tech guy. This time he claimed it was my computers fault I couldn't view the new subdomain. Excuse me, when was the last time it was the browser's fault a page didn't show up. To boot it didn't show up on *any* of our 3 web compatible computers ( I own 3 macs, a Plus, a PPC 7300/20 and the Graphite iMac DV I'm writing this on. Oh yeah and we have Shaggy's yucky Pee Cee which he had to format again. lol) Oh well it works now, that's all that matters.

Now that's I've stopped ranting, on to the things that make my mood happy. I got a new pet. Yeah, all the people who know me will say "Oh no! Not another one" (I have 2 cats already. Shampoo and Ukyou. Can you tell Shaggy likes Ranma) But don't fret, my new pet is only a little beta fish so it shouldn't bother any of my numerous visitors so much. It's a cute little red beta fish named Yue ( from Card Captor Sakura). Here's a picture of him:


Isn't he cute *^-^* I also got a new cd! The Pretty Guardian Sailormoon Original Song Album Dear My Friend. PGSM music is so fun and makes one so happy *^-^* Shaggy also picked up the Inu Yasha movie (at Future Shop of all places. It's owned by Best Buy and looks just like a red version of Best Buy. Their anime collection seems to have droped in price as of late and they have some very rare things. Well rare for Canada. Like the Inu Yasha first season box set that Shaggy wants so much) and he also got a new video card. An ati Radeon. My iMac only has an ati Rave. I want a power book. Sniffle Sniffle.

I shouldn't complain too much. I'm picking up the text books for my Japanese classes today. *^-^*
